In a mixing bowl or jug, add the sattu powder. Pour in about 1/2 cup of the chilled water and whisk vigorously with a fork or a small whisk to create a smooth, lump-free paste. This initial step is crucial to prevent lumps.
Once the paste is smooth, gradually pour in the remaining chilled water while continuously stirring to ensure it mixes evenly into a thin liquid.
Add the finely chopped onion, green chilli, fresh coriander leaves, roasted cumin powder, black salt, and regular salt to the sattu mixture.
Squeeze in the fresh lemon juice. Stir everything thoroughly until all the ingredients are well combined.
Taste the sharbat and adjust the salt, black salt, or lemon juice according to your preference.
Pour the sattu sharbat into two serving glasses. Add a few ice cubes if desired. Serve immediately and enjoy this refreshing drink.
