This Classic Tuna Melt offers a quick and comforting meal, featuring a healthier tuna salad made with Greek yogurt, perfectly grilled between slices of whole-wheat bread with melted cheddar cheese.

Thoroughly drain the can of light tuna. In a small bowl, flake the tuna with a fork.
Add the Greek yogurt (or mayonnaise), finely chopped celery, minced red onion (if using), Dijon mustard, a pinch of salt, and a pinch of black pepper to the tuna. Mix well to combine all ingredients.
Lay out the two slices of whole-wheat bread. Spread the tuna mixture evenly over one slice of bread, extending almost to the edges.
Place the slice of cheddar cheese directly on top of the tuna mixture, then cover with the second slice of bread.
Generously spread the softened butter on the outside of both slices of bread. Ensure even coverage for a golden-brown crust.
