1.Place the grated bottle gourd in a muslin cloth or between your palms and squeeze out as much water as possible. Reserve the water for the gravy.2.In a mixing bowl, combine the squeezed bottle gourd, besan, grated ginger, green chili, turmeric powder, and salt.3.Mix well to form a thick, dough-like mixture.
